Dag 1, 2 en 3

4 februari 2017 - Neemuch, India

The flight was good although we circled 7 laps above the gulf of Arden, due to bad wheather above Dubai. But we arrived safely. I had 12 hours to spend so I went to Connaught place. It Is a busy place and I got 6 or 7 Indian guys who wanted to help me. I appreciated the help but was precausious because of the tv program "oplichters in het buitenland ". So I walked back to the train station. The last kilometer I accepted the offe of a bicycle rickshaws. The train came at ten, which meant a delay of 15 minutes. I was traveling first class because I wanted to travel safe on the first night train. I shared the cabin with a guy from Delhi. He was a motor enthusiastic as well. So we had a good chat and suddenly it was 12 o'clock. I slept well, and woke up at 8. We stopped at Kota junction. There my cabin friend left the train. At Nimach I heard a band playing and saw several people with suitcases being welcomed. I thought that they wee all family and friends of Jaishree. So I walked along with them. Once outside Jaishree's younger brother and his friend gave me a warm welcome. They dropped me at the Bharat palace hotel. The room is spacious with a good view on the main road. I adore the business on the street, the noise and activity on the streets. I took a shower and got fresh again. Around 16:45 I was collected by Abushek and he took me on his motorbike through Neemuch. Awesome experience. We arrived at a clothing store where we borrowed a Sherwani with Jooties  (the shoes). Then we drove to Jaishrees home. It was a welcome so nice, with her mother her elder sister and husband and her 2nd brother and a bunch of nephews and nieces. Again so much warmth and friendlyness, fantastic. At some time I was surrounded by the kids, asking me everything , making selfies of me with all of them. And then I was served an appetizer contains chiapaties, small roti's, with onion and carrot and lemon. Delicious and spicy ....yummie. Later that evening Jaishree asked to witness a ceremony . Two guys were playing titmice drums as the ceremony took place. So nice to see what rituals were performed for this marriage. And after that I was invited by Jaishrees sister to dance. So I danced, copying the steps and hand movements as good as I could. Afterwards I was thrilled by the compliments I received. They took me on video which gone viral. I greatly  enjoyed the moment. And then we got dinner. And Just before I went back to the hotel I was asked to dance again, super....... I had a great time. Tomorrow at 10 we start with, what I think will be, another great day.  I'll keep you updated
